Take me on a picnic?

Take me on a picnic?

How unsure I was about wearing this trend, am I even a gingham girl?

The real question is how to work that summer gingham trend as a adult? For me it’s only wearing one piece at a time and styling it very simple. Follow the rules, keep your shoes simple with white trainers or plain sliders. Pink or Red gingham wear with white, blue or black wear with black.

This dv8 top is ticking all the summer trends. Statement sleeves (check) of the shoulder (check) baby pink gingham (check). Definitely a trend that’s outside my normal style, but I brought it back home by styling it with my love of the moment sliders (not a flip flop girl). Lastly how to finish a dress down look but with ripped jeans. Normally I only wear one brand ( you know the ones, but a petite girl can’t help it, Joni your for life) but these fit like a glove.

How are you feeling about the gingham trend. If your feeling like your ready to step outside your comfort zone, I got my whole look at dv8. If you want a touch of the trend without fully diving into it opt for some gingham print shoes, great with jeans and cropped-wide leg trousers. Or even a cute bikini for your holidays.

RETRO ROSE FACT: Picnic’s are my favorite summer activity (boys take note)
